Where Intuition Finds Expression

The Story Behind Sruth

Before there was a Sruth, there were the grandmothers. The Wise Women. The healers.

Their legacy lives within my work, rooted in Appalachia and shaped by ancestral wisdom, intuitive knowing, and the connection between land and spirit.

Sruth grew from bringing those roots together, a gathering of things that carry meaning, prepared with care, and brought into purpose through the spoken word.

Its name is the Scottish Gaelic word for stream or current. Here, it speaks to the movement of an intention: something held quietly within, given a voice, and carried forward.

The creek stones come from Appalachian waters. The salt comes from ancient waters beneath these mountains. Together, they connect the living creek with a sea that belongs to the land’s distant past.

A seashell fragment brings another kind of connection. Here in Appalachia, we may travel hours to reach the ocean, answering a longing for salt air, warmth, and the deep breath waiting at the water’s edge. That fragment holds a place for what calls you beyond the familiar, and permission to follow it.

Three dandelion wishing seeds speak to possibility, to what begins quietly and is carried outward on a breath. Quartz, feather, and a secret herbal blend join them, each with a purpose revealed through the practice.

The elements are gathered together on the full moon, a time I honor for fullness, illumination, and possibility.

As I prepare each Sruth, wooden flute and drumming music fill the room. Palo santo smoke fills the open glass, curling through the spaces between the gathered pieces. A blessing is spoken, and a trace of the cooled ash remains within.

The glass holds this gathering while allowing light to pass through, a reminder to hold your intention with clarity and remain open to possibility.

What makes it yours begins with what you are ready to welcome.

Your intention guides the personal work: a living grid drawn through my intuitive practice, a message received for you, and words written for your own voice to speak.

This is where the story opens into your life.

What has been quietly calling you? What are you ready to give your attention, your voice, and a place to begin?

Your Sruth is an invitation to answer, and let the current carry it forward.
