Bỳ-en-sòs began with stones shaped by Middle Island Creek and an intuitive desire to bring them together without taking away what the land and water had already created. Each piece honors the stone as it was found and the Appalachian landscape that shaped it.

Dùthchas brings together my Scottish ancestry and my Appalachian roots through small pieces of the land itself. Created with materials gathered here in Appalachia, each vessel is a reflection of place, belonging, memory, and the connection we carry with the land we call home.
