Healing Notes
Every path begins with a story. Here you’ll find reflections from the Appalachian hills, lessons shared by the animals, moments behind the camera, and quiet reminders that healing often begins when we slow down long enough to listen.
It Was Always the Same Thing.
It’s taken me 53 years to realize that I’ve never really done more than one thing. What once looked like separate paths, healing, photography, art, Appalachia, and the objects that quietly find their way into my hands, have always been invitations to pay attention. I’ve stopped separating the things I love and begun to recognize the thread that has been there all along: noticing what wants to be revealed and what might become possible when it is truly seen.
