This one-of-a-kind, three-piece Bỳ-en-sòs sculpture is composed of naturally weathered sandstone and creek-worn stones gathered from Middle Island Creek. A softly curved stone cradles a smaller rust-toned stone upon an elongated sandstone base, creating a quiet expression of shelter, balance, and belonging.
Each element remains as the earth and water shaped it and has been intuitively brought together by Becky. The completed work receives a symbolic sprinkling of West Virginia salt drawn from the ancient Iapetus Sea beneath the Appalachian Mountains.

CARE & HANDLING
This sculpture is created from natural stone and should be handled with care. Sandstone can be fragile, particularly around thin edges, and may naturally release a small amount of sand or mineral particles. Natural color variations, irregular surfaces, small fissures, and weathered edges are part of the character of the work and are not considered flaws.
Display the sculpture indoors on a sturdy, level surface. Keep it dry and away from excessive humidity, direct heat, and areas where it could be bumped or knocked over. Handle each element separately, supporting it securely from underneath. Do not attempt to lift or move the sculpture as one assembled unit. Do not clean it with water, sprays, or household cleaning products. If necessary, remove surface dust gently with a clean, soft, dry brush.
The three elements may be individually wrapped for protection during shipping. Carefully remove and discard all packing material, then use the product photographs as a guide for arranging the sculpture. Keep out of reach of small children and pets.
