The Story
Some things can only be seen differently after everything changes.
This leaf once grew at the very top of a tree, far beyond where I could ever reach it. Then a tornado came through and brought the tree to the ground.
Standing beside it afterward, I realized I could touch what had once been one of the highest points of the tree. So I did.
For just a moment, something that had spent its life above me had been brought within reach.
